We know many of you may have questions or concerns about our upcoming wedding following Hurricane Lowell on Kaua‘i, so we wanted to share a quick update.

We’ve been in close contact with the Grand Hyatt, and thankfully the resort sustained minimal damage overall. The primary area impacted was the saltwater lagoon, which the hotel is actively working to repair as quickly as possible.

The island is recovering well, businesses and resorts are reopening and operating, and Kaua‘i is welcoming visitors in October. Most importantly, our wedding is moving forward, though some event locations within the hotel may change!

For now, there is no need to adjust your travel plans, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you in Kaua‘i next month!
